A word from our 2015 winner – Mark McLeod
“Getting the opportunity to travel one on one with Ken was a real honour. Ken and I set off from Sydney with the Toyota Land Cruiser packed with gear in an adventure across the country. We arrived into Alice Springs and after bypassing the icons like Uluru and Kings Canyon we went straight to the lesser known locations such as Ellery Creek. We even discovered impressive new locations that have never been shot before on an enormous cattle station. The highlight of the trip was spending a couple of days in a remote aboriginal community, sharing a dinner with some of the traditional owners and being invited to shoot on their wonderful country. This was not your typical photo tour! Ken has been very generous in sharing his wealth of knowledge and in a way has acted as mentor. Good luck to this year’s winner and enjoy the adventure!”
